The Eye of Ramalach's space in DA.

Hello everyone!

As i said before, i was participating on the latest CMJC here in Monterrey. In the last journal i said that had gotten a table to promote his webcomic and had invited me and Mark. I got a little spot there to share and i took some material to promote The Eye of Ramalach.

So friday started and i was waiting for both of my friends to arrive... but hours passed and nothing. Finally got a call from Mark, turns out the girls from ( and )had some issues with the booking of their hotel room and had to wait until the previous users were gone. By the time i got picked up, my pals had already gotten the table and chairs. He bougth some Pollo Loco and then went to buy some table cloths for our space. When we arrived to Cintermex we just started eating the chicken and managed to order the stuff for the table.

There we were greeted by , very nice fellow. Quite warm too, he does a lot of contact when talking. Anyway, he talked most of the time with Jeso, but the few times i talked to him were quite nice. He was sitting next to us for the first day, taking ´s table since he didn't arrive that day. Mago had some issues with his assigned table, in fact they didn't give him a table at all until the last minute.

That day i also saw , i talked little with him but it was nice to see him again. He always seems quite busy. He hanged around all weekend with the StudioXIII girls. Turns out he knew my sister, i had no clue!

I also got a chance to see which i always appreciate! She is really awesome... even when she keeps attacking me physically and psychologically... ok she is mean to me because i am weak. Anyways, she participated on the drawing contest and asked me to pick up her stuff on sunday because she had to go. She ended up getting the second place and i picked up her drawing ( [link] ) and her prize money. Congratulations girl!! ;3

This day i also had a chance to say hello to and a brief chat with who told me of his new FA account (the name of it is really hilarious if you are aware of what he does in DA). They were sharing table with the autor of El Monito again.

That day my friends and were also there to spend some time with! My sister also came to hang out a bit. I corrupted her newly aquired Death Note gashapon figurines.

also came to hang out at our table the whole weekend.

I got to say hi to who was sitting in front of us. I just love his dancing crocodile!!

I also got a chance to visit who is incredibly humble and very VERY polite.

was also there. I didn't get much of a chance to talk to her, but i got her DA card. ^^

I also talked to , he is very jovial and also a very nice person. His accent was amusing and he showed us some of the coins from Chile.

I got the chance to see and too! Also . They were at the role game section, promoting their game Tiamat. Best wishes to them.

At night Jeso, Mark, Canon, Silver, my sister and a new friend i made (Aurora if i got the name right ^^U )from Chihuahua, we all went to have some dinner to the Sirloin Stockade.

On saturday, was at her table promoting her webcomic too. I gave her a visit and bought the printed version of it. It had an amazing fake airplane ticket, very lovely detail.

I also saw that day. I missed her on friday and it was very awesome to see her, i had asked her a favour to make some pins of my characters. I also gave her a compilation of "Liberty Meadows" by Frank Cho as thanks for the favour. ^^

The chair i was using that day broke with me sitting on it. It was embarassing and yet funny! ^^

Jeso and I also had a conference about our webcomics. We had like 20 people only, and now proyector. But i think we managed to make it well. I am not entirely sure of what he thought of it.

At night several of us went to have some dinner at Redspot Pizza. Me, Jeso, Mark, Canon, Silver, my sister, Soyunhamster, Saiyagina, Siliceb, Stilogeno, Chutkat and her sister . I got to say that i was kind of messy, but entertaining.

After that,we went to the aftercon to have some hamburguers and chat with the people of the convention. There i met and talked to , he is very fun to talk to, and i got to say that he is also quite centered on his thoughts. He made me realize some of the priorities of the convention when i felt a bit low for a minute.

On sunday, i saw who had a very impressing Tai-Lung cosplay suit he made himself. It was awesome, it even moved the mouth like his Falco suit! He won second place on the cosplay competition. Congratulations man!!

I also saw my friend , we had some catching up to do. Always great to see good friends.

At the end we had to say goodbye to everyone, it was sad.

Before that, Jeso, Mark, Stilogeno, Saiyagina, Siliceb and me went to have some dinner at the nearest Carl's Jr. Then we went to the bus station and waved Jeso, Gina and Siliceb goodbye, didn't get a proper goodbye because we all arrived late. After that, Stilo went on his own to his home. Mark and i drove to Chutkat's to deliver her drawing and her prize money. After that, Mark left me at my place.

Before going to sleep, i took one final check at my booty!

Now... regarding my webcomic. Little to no people were interested in it, in fact few people even noticed i was there at all. It was a bit sad, but at least i had a very awesome time with friends and new people. Hino was right, it was a time to spend with friends! One of my biggest mistakes is concentrating on the bad aspects and ignoring the good ones. As for the merchandize i had brought, i sold almost nothing. But i did give up several gifts to the artists that went, and noticed which characters were the most popular (Mayte, Alex, Pierre and Velia). I guess i got to work harder for the next convention, i am aware of what i lack and what needs to be worked on and improved upon.

I also want to mention some people that hanged around: , , , , , , , , , , and Princess and everyone else i forgot to mention.

I also wished i could have seen ;_;

And now, back to giving classes at D4 for now. But to be honest, the students have turned out to be an interesting group: a bipolar girl, a hot/sexy/fun/gorgeous/happy/intelligent gamer girl and even a catholic priest that has very good bases of human figure! O_o This are sure to be interesting this time.
