Well... in the middle of a stream my Cintiq 12WX stopped working. Just as sudden as it sounds.

Reinstalling the drivers didn't do a thing. Neither the pen nor the eraser of the stylus is registered and the "LED sensor" doesn't shine. This seems to imply it is a hardware issue with the pen and it should be replaced. I got no issues at all in getting a new pen.

My problem is getting the pen itself. I live in Mexico and Wacom doesn't ship here, so i will have to ask a friend to make the order and then resent the pen to me. All of that adding extra costs. This isn't that bit of an issue either.

My big problem is that i got no way of knowing if the faulty thing is my pen or tablet. All the local perople i know have different or newer models so i can't ask for a pen to test. If i get a new pen and after the whole ordeal i described turns out that the pen is ok and the tablet is the one with issues i would be frustrated at the waste of money and time.

"Intuos3 SE Grip Pen" is the tipe of stylus i need test. If someone else's stylus works i can completely be sure that my pen is faulty and needs to be replaced. I just wish this would be easy to do, but as i said, i know nobody with that model.

I guess i am frustrated and venting...i need to test my old bamboo to see if i can keep working in the meantime.

I hope you can find a solution. If not, we can burn both of our malfunctioning tablets together >;O hah
